Those that haven’t stepped foot inside the Union Chapel in Islington are in for a treat. Nestled in Highbury Corner, north London, the 124 year-old, grade two listed chapel is an outstanding example of high gothic Victorian architecture.
Designed by James Cubbitt and constructed in 1877, the chapel is both intimate and dramatic – the perfect music venue. The breathtaking octagonal main room comes complete with intricate pews and carved banisters – creating a sense of drama and tradition.
Importantly, the chapel’s layout means you’ll be up close and personal to all the performers. The chapel’s ground floor is wheelchair friendly, and a fully-licensed bar will be open throughout the night.
